What if nothing ever really ends?
Would you like to know the story?
Not so serious short story.
My life was fine. Not really boring, but fine. Alarm clocks worked. Bills got almost paid. Nobody talked to ghosts. Then I met him — a dog. Not just any dog. The kind of dog that makes you cancel plans and question your emotional attachment to humans. My dog. My best friend. My everything. And then ... he was gone. Like life had just ripped out a page and rewritten it badly. But something didn’t sit right. The accident felt strange. Off.
Then, in the middle of my grief spiral, I heard something.
Not barking.
Not howling.
A magical message. From the afterlife.
(Yep. Told you this got weird.)
This is the story of what happens when love refuses to die.
And when a dog becomes more than just a pet —
he becomes a messenger.
The Book.
A story about searching for lost love and mourning that has no timeline. A story about exploring and discovering the (un)known. A story about faith and never-ending hope that takes us to the spiritual world of the afterlife. A straightforward story about ups and downs, as is true of life itself, from which we can learn a lot. Perhaps many will not be able to identify with this story, but for those who understand this connection, love, and longing or sorrow, it is a ray of hope in difficult times that, to quote Rumi, “this too shall pass”. If something is destined for us, it will find us, regardless of the obstacles that life throws in our path.
“Those who don’t believe in magic
will never find it.”

About me.
Eva. I’m a graphic designer by profession and a writer by passion because my brain refuses to shut up. I mostly write humorous stories — the kind that make you laugh, cringe, and question my mental stability (in a good way).
This particular book, though? A bit of an emotional curveball. Less comedy club, more “crying while walking your dog and questioning reality”. But don’t worry — it still has sarcasm, plot twists, and a talking dog. Obviously.
I love sitting on a bar terrace with a cold beer in hand, my dog curled up next to me, while I watch people stroll by and imagine what their homes look like inside. It’s a harmless obsession — a mix of people-watching and secret interior design fantasies. I adore interiors, truly. But let’s be honest: I’m probably not becoming an interior designer in this lifetime. That would require a whole new personality.
I love astrology. I mean, what’s not to love about blaming the stars for your weird behavior? I’m a Capricorn with Aquarius rising, which means I’m an ambitious overthinker who also believes the universe sends signs through dogs and coffee foam.
What people said.
“This book is everything: funny, heartbreaking, weird in the best way. One minute you’re snorting with laughter, the next you’re ugly crying over a dog and life and the universe. It’s a beautiful mess — just like life itself.”
— Paola
“This story has everything: strange coincidences, deep love, magical messages, and one extremely good dog. It’s sad, sure — but also uplifting, oddly comforting, and way funnier than it has any right to be. Highly recommend to anyone with a heart.”
— Anna
“I came for the dog. I stayed for the emotional damage.”
— Filip
“Read this if you like dogs, emotions, and the occasional existential crisis.”
— Sara
“Fun fact: I cried and then laughed while still crying. 10/10 experience.”
— Oliver
“An emotional, magical, and oddly hilarious journey through grief, love, and the chaos in between. The author's resilience and intuition shine through every page. I felt seen. And also slightly haunted (in a good way).”
— Monica
“This is the kind of story that sticks with you. It's warm, wise, and full of love. It doesn’t shy away from pain, but it doesn’t wallow in it either. It’s about healing, intuition, and not giving up — even when life throws you a plot twist… or a ghost dog.”
— Heidi
“Why yes, I do think dogs can send magical messages now. Thanks for asking ...”
— Mark
“This story said: ‘Hey, let’s casually talk about loss and magic and not being okay — but make it funny.”
— Peter
